Riverfront Park

Riverfront Park is Spokane’s premier gathering place. Placed in the middle of Spokane’s vast array of Restaurants and Nightlife, it offers both beautiful Scenery as well as many areas to explore. Riverfront Park runs along Spokane River. Whether you are checking out the rapids crashing below, or sitting on the calm waterside feeding the swans and ducks; The scenery is something any nature enthusiast can truly appreciate.
More often then not you can find all sorts of activities to partake in. There’s a variety of choices depending on the season. There is always live music on outside stages in the summer, and Ice Skating in the winter. You can also ride the Gondola over the Spokane river or ride on the Full size historic Carousel. Catch a movie in the wide screen Imax Theater, or browse the Expo Center, where they have rides, food and an arcade.
Manito Park

There are 90 acres, spread over 5 main Gardens; worth of immaculate flower beds, greenhouse overflows, perfumes of roses and lilacs, living creatures such as swans, geese and ducks and so much more. Manito Park also has a picturesque stone bridge, the Park Bench Café located near Manito Place historic drive and an upper and lower playground.
Cat Tales Zoo

Come walk the trail and check out these mysterious feline beasts. The Zoo is open to the public all year round. Admission ranges from $5 for children 12 and under to $8 for adults. Cat Tales also is the home of the Zoological Training Center, which is the only school of this type in North America.
Cathedral of St. John

Built in 1925 St. John’s Cathedral is “a house of prayer for all people” where all are welcome, unique in the Northwest, is one of the few examples in the new world of classic Gothic architecture – and one of the finest.
Silverwood

Silverwood Theme Park is the largest of its kind in the Northwest. Built in 1988 with a Victorian mining town theme, the park now covers 200 acres with more than 65 rides and attractions. Dominating the skies at Silverwood is Aftershock – the 191 foot tall steel roller coaster, Tremors, a 65-mph wooden coaster that drops 103 feet and plummets underground four times, the 55-mph Timber Terror wooden coaster, the Corkscrew coaster, the 140-foot tall Panic Plunge drop tower, Thunder Canyon whitewater ride, a 1915 steam-powered train and, a miniature mining town for kids. Silverwood also features dozens of traditional amusement rides. Shows include illusion and juggling acts, as well as an ice show and the Garfield and Odie show. The 16-acre Boulder Beach Water Park, within Silverwood, includes the Avalanche Mountain Water Ride, two gigantic wave pools, inner tube slides, a lazy river, two kiddie areas with pools, slides and interactive water toys and is the ultimate water park in the region!
